Ed McKean currently plays lead guitar and is a vocalist for the Wild Card Band. He was born June 24th 1951 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He began playing guitar at the age of 14. He relocated to Oklahoma in 1975. Ed Has studied with Julian Akins of Oklahoma City, Jim Atkins of Nashville, and Howard Roberts of L.A. Ed has also used his many skills and knowledge to instruct beginning and advanced guitar players.
Ed has performed with many of Oklahoma's great artists including Harlow Wilcox, Wilton O'Neal, and Henson Cargill.
