

Lee (LeRoy) Wallace was born in
February of 1958, south of Oklahoma in the "Lone Star State". He attended
Del City High School in Oklahoma and graduated in 1976. He begin playing
Oklahoma City metro area clubs in 1979. He studied music theory at Oscar
Rose College and under several Jazz musicians in Oklahoma and Nashville.
His musical influences are Chicago and Earth Wind & Fire. He had the
opportunity to do studio work with Chicago while playing with a band called
Maya. Maya had a hit on RCA called "Murder by Love". They moved to
Nashville and worked with such stars and Mel McDaniel, Becky Hobbs, and Bryan
White. They opened shows at the Cannery in Nashville. LeRoy is a
very talented drummer, vocalist, and songwriter.
